Core Bio Care provides confidential, CLIA-waived urine pregnancy screening using FDA-approved point-of-care testing devices. This service is intended to offer timely, accessible screening results in a private and supportive setting. Core Bio Care operates strictly in a non-clinical capacity. This service does not include medical diagnosis, treatment, prenatal care, or emergency services. Prior to testing, clients complete a brief intake and provide written consent acknowledging the scope and limitations of the screening. Urine specimens are self-collected in a private restroom, and testing is performed onsite in accordance with manufacturer instructions and CLIA-waived regulatory standards. Quality control procedures and infection prevention practices are followed at all times. Results are processed within the timeframe specified by the manufacturer, typically within minutes. Clients receive verbal notification of the screening outcome and may request written documentation. Staff do not interpret medical conditions beyond reporting the result as positive, negative, or invalid. This screening is not a medical diagnosis. If follow-up support is requested, Core Bio Care may assist with care navigation, including locating licensed healthcare providers, coordinating referrals, or facilitating telehealth appointments. Confirmatory testing and medical consultation must be completed by a licensed healthcare professional. Clients experiencing urgent symptoms such as severe abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, dizziness, or fainting should seek immediate medical attention. While CLIA-waived pregnancy tests are highly accurate when used properly, false positive or false negative results are possible depending on timing and biological factors. This service does not replace evaluation by a licensed medical provider. All client information and results are handled in accordance with applicable privacy standards and disclosed only with written authorization or as required by law. Payment is due at the time of service, and refunds are not issued once testing has been performed. If a test device is invalid due to manufacturer defect, a repeat screening may be offered at no additional charge. By receiving this service, clients acknowledge the limitations of CLIA-waived screening and understand the importance of appropriate medical follow-up when necessary.
